How to Make Money Online Blogging

This blog is an experiment about making money online with a blog. So the blog is up and running. The problem being that the number of visitors to the site; is close to non-existent.

I have been wrestling with ways to increase traffic to the blog and individual blogspots.

No traffic, no money, as they say.

I read an interesting report on how to achieve the #1 Google Ranking. You can get it here at Blogging Mechanics. The fact being that, if you manage to achieve the #1 Google ranking, you should be flooded with organic traffic.

I have followed the instructions up to the point of creating a second blog within this blog. Check it out here. A secondary blog as it were. This blog is purely there, as a means to publish as much content as possible. Content, and lots of it, is one the main things that Google looks for, when it ranks your site.

I am also using SEO Vinelink as a means to get automated content posted to this secondary blog. Be careful though, you must manually approve the articles, as some of them are badly written and make no sense. Further tips can be found in the Blogging Mechanics report mentioned above.

So, I am going to attempt this and report back. The report also deals with ways to create backlinks to your site. Another very important aspect of how Google ranks your site. This, however, is for another day….
