Google Penalty and other Updates.

It’s been a while since my last post on Google Penalties.

I have fixed as much as I could around my site. Going as far as deleting my entire secondary blog, that I talked about in a past post – How to Make Money Online Blogging.

Just a note on that post: ignore it! Having a secondary blog and using “free articles” to populate it, with other people’s content, will cause problems in terms of not having original content and increase the possibility of linking to bad neighbourhoods. Google does not like this and it will hurt your rankings.

On the lighter side, I managed to sell another copy of The Secrets of Thai Bar Girls! So, not all doom and gloom.

I have noticed that I have received a few hits to the site from Google searches in the last day or so. I read an article somewhere, that says the Google Penalty lasts for +/-90 days. That is, if you fix whatever problems you “think” may have caused the penalty in the first place!

I think this may be happening. We live in hope!

Funnily enough, My S*x Toy site seems to be suffering the same fate. Organic search traffic has all but dried up and my rankings have dropped dramatically! I have decided to be patient and wait it out.

I am detecting a pattern? Arbitrarytweets.com (new site) is going great guns and ranking very highly with Google and getting traffic. It does seem that Google will help new websites to start with, and then put them through the wringer to, I guess, weed out the shit!

Anyhow, that is my theory for the moment.
