Backlinks as a way to drive Traffic to your Blog with Onlywire.

In my last blogspot How to Make Money Online Blogging, I discussed an interesting report on Blogging Mechanics. It dealt with ways to achieve a good Google Ranking and therefore drive more organic traffic to your site and in the process, to hopefully make more money with your blog.

First thing to do, was to create lots of content. I do not want to go into more detail here, as I have already covered this in the last post. In short, I am automating content with SEO LinkVine and using articles from Article Base. Google loves lots of content, as well as blogs that update regularly. So, content generation is important and is going along nicely.

The next urgent project for “The Great ClickBank Caper”, that deals with traffic generation and Google rankings, is “backlink” creation.

Backlinks are links to your site or blog from other sites on the web. These are very important, for two main reasons.

Firstly, Google loves backlinks. It is a major consideration when Google ranks your site. It gets a bit more technical, but for the moment this will suffice. If your site ranks higher with Google, then the odds are that you will get more traffic. This is what we are aiming for.

Secondly, the more direct links to your blog out “there”, the better the odds are that people will come across them, click on them and be directed to your site. This drives more traffic to your site.

There are many ways to increase or grow your backlinks; but for this post, I will deal with just one.

This brings us to Social Media and Bookmarking sites as a means of generating backlinks.

Firstly you need to go to Onlywire.com and sign up. There are two paid options and a free option. Sign up and follow the instructions for installation.

Onlywire, is an application that automatically submits all your blog posts to up to 40 different Social Media and Bookmarking sites on the internet. If you haven’t set up accounts for these Social Media and Bookmarking sites; then do so. Onlywire lists them for you.

What I like about Onlywire, is that it saves you tons and tons of time. Instead of having to go to all your related Social platforms and manually update them when you post a new blogspot; Onlywire does this automatically for you. It really saves you time.

The other lovely part of this whole thing, is that you are now automatically creating backlinks from all these platforms to your blog. As I said, Google loves backlinks. On top of this the chance of people coming across these links and clicking through to your site also increases.

There are, of course, other ways to create backlinks, but these will be dealt with in separate posts.
